This class will review the basic of airway management for the EMR and EMT.

Target Audience

EMS Providers under Dr. Eby.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this class the student will be able to:

1. Assess and demonstrate the application of a traction splint

2. Demonstrate the application of a SAM or other rigid splint for a long bone fracture

3. Demonstrate the application of a sling and swath or other splint device for a joint injury.

4. Demonstrate the application of a pelvic binder, both commercial and home made.
