Dr. Geoff Markowitz, MD lead a discussion about pediatric emergencies. Topics included but were not limited to: defining the pediatric assessment triangle, its use and how to interpret provider findings using the PAT; pathophysiology review of asthma, croup and bronchiolitis in pediatric patients. Discussion of BLS and ALS prehospital interventions.
