Upon completion the learner will be able to:
- Review hypoperfusion (shock) and its causes.
- Correlate hypoperfusion reactions to organ shut-down and cell ischemia/infarction.
- Discuss treatment and assessment options in the prehospital environment to combat multi-system organ dysfunction.
