Managing the Agitated Patient and Psychological First Aid

Using resources from Responder Alliance and an article from Dr. Liz Lipton, MD, a practical discussion was had around managing an agitated and/or psychotic patient and provider safety. Discussion included differential diagnoses for psychotic behavior, potential treatment in the field and outside/community resources to help and provide scene safety.
