The lecture discusses patient presentations who are having GI/GU emergencies. This will go review basic GI/GU anatomy. It will discuss common signs and symptoms that the EMS providers needs to be aware of. The treatment of patients with GI/GU emergencies.

Learning Objectives

Be able to name the anatomy of Gastrointestinal and GU system. Be able to describe common signs and symptoms of GI/GU emergencies including GI bleeds, signs of infection and pain patterns. Be able to identify appropriate treatment for patients with GI/GU emergencies and name the importance of early recognition of GI bleeding.
