This course will have an over view of large scale mass casualty events and how EMS responded to the events the types of triage and the transport of large volumes of patients. It includes what valuable points were learned in these event sand how EMS and responding agencies have improved their practice when responding to these events. This course will also cover methods of triage. Participants will also learn about dangers when responding to harzardous exposures and toxidromes and the patient treatment.
